A wedding day is more than a collection of beautiful details. It’s a story unfolding in real time—the anticipation before the ceremony, the promises spoken, the laughter shared, and the quiet moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. My hope is to preserve those beautiful, precious moments for years to come.
My name is Jake Oryon. I’m a filmmaker based in North Carolina with a passion for storytelling and the art of cinema. My approach is rooted in capturing genuine emotion, finding beauty in the details, and crafting films that feel as meaningful as the day itself.
My faith in Jesus Christ has profoundly shaped the way I see life, love, and the stories I tell. I believe the most beautiful things are often the ones that point us beyond ourselves—toward God, love, commitment, family, and the people God has placed in our lives.

How Booking Works
1) Once you inquire, we’ll start with a conversation. Whether it be a sit-down over coffee or a video or phone call, I want to hear about your story, your vision, and how I can be a part of best capturing your day.
2) When you are ready to move forward, I’ll send over a custom proposal with your selected package and a contract. Your date is officially reserved once I receive the signed agreement and the retainer. From there you can rest easy—you're booked!
3) Leading up to your session or wedding day, I’ll guide you through timelines, location ideas, and all the thoughtful details that help your story unfold naturally. When the day arrives, you can stay fully present, knowing I’m there to capture it beautifully and honestly.
